Celebrating Russia at its best. Director of Photography Christian Baumeister was hired to film the wildest and most beautiful places of Russia in a stunning and innovative way, using all kinds of moving camera techniques. Impressive aerials are core of the visual feast, creating short advertising clips promoting Russia’s Channel 1.

Over the term of two years the team travels from the heights of the Caucasus to the volcanoes of Kamchatka, from the icy Kola Peninsula to the polar bears of Wrangle Island. Capturing the immense beauty of the biggest country on earth in all its beauty, and tell its incredible stories in only a few seconds screentime, is a great challenge for Christian.
