SynopsisThis unique documentary of his 2005-06 China tour features Lang Lang in concert and giving masterclasses, however it’s also an intimate portrait of the “prodigiously gifted artist“ (Gramophone) surrounded by his fans, at home with his family, and on the road. The DVD also includes bonus footage of Lang Lang performing several Chinese classical pieces from his Dragon Songs CD, with spoken introductions by this pianist whom composer Tan Dun calls “a poet with magical powers”.
